Welcome to the KAW-PSM mailing list, which is an unmoderated
sublist of the moderated
KAW
mailing list. Click
here for the motivation of the PSM mailing list.
The aim of this list is to discuss ongoing issues related to
problem-solving methods (PSMs) and Knowledge Acquisition and
Engineering. Within this scope, any mail, remark, question, statement
is welcome. Examples of topics related to PSMs and KA/KE include,
but are not limited to (taken from the
KAW'96
PSM-track CFP):
To keep the larger KA community informed, every one or two months a
summary of the discussions will be sent to the general KAW list
(provided that some discussion has taken place).
It is not allowed to send commercial rubbish, etc. to this list.
On the other hand, because of the unmoderate nature,
a certain tolerance for occasional junk mails is recommended.
People interested in receiving mails from this list on PSMs, have to
subscribe separately from the general KAW list.
To subscribe to the list, you must send an e-mail to
service@swi.psy.uva.nl
with the request:
subscribe kaw-psm <full name>
in the body of the message, ``<full name>'' should be
your real name, not your e-mail address! To
unsubscribe from the list,
also send a message to service@swi.psy.uva.nl with the request:
unsubscribe kaw-psm
in the body of the message.
If these requests fail for some reason, send a message to me, the
maintainer of the mailing list
(kaw-psm-owner@swi.psy.uva.nl).
Please do NOT send `subscribe' and `unsubscribe' messages to the mailing
list itself (kaw-psm@swi.psy.uva.nl).
There are three addresses you need to know.
1) kaw-psm@swi.psy.uva.nl
This is the list address for messages--when you send a message
to this account, it will be echoed to all of the subscribers of
this list. Mails sent here will be archived automatically.
2) service@swi.psy.uva.nl
This is the address to pass on to friends and coworkers who are
interested in joining this or other mailing lists at our site.
Subscriptions, requests, etc. are handled here. For info send
the 'help' command in a message to this address.
3) kaw-psm-owner@swi.psy.uva.nl
This is the address that reaches the mailing list owner personally. This
address does not echo out to the list.
Messages sent to the list are archived using hypermail.
